Litvin, Ravshan and Adel: the original gas station dance
The gas station dance everyone is copying started as a throwaway road-trip clip. In 2024 Mikhail Litvin, one of Russia’s best-known influencers, stopped for fuel at around 4am with his friends Ravshan and Adel. They put on music and started dancing on the forecourt. Litvin posted it to his account and it was quickly forgotten.
What happens in the video
The clip runs about 15 seconds and has three moments, which every remake now follows:
- Ravshan dancing under the canopy lights, throwing his hands around with zero choreography
- Litvin filming himself selfie-style, walking toward the camera
- Adel stepping out of the car like it’s a music video
What song is it?
The track is “On and On” by Akcent, the Romanian pop act behind several 2000s Eurodance hits. On TikTok and Reels the sound is usually listed under the trend name, so search “gas station dance” or “Litvin” in the sound picker.
Why it went viral in 2026
In late September 2026, AI video templates appeared that could recast the three people in the clip from ordinary photos. Suddenly anyone could drop their friends, their football team or their favourite celebrities onto that 4am forecourt. In Russian-speaking feeds the trend is often called “Делай”, while English feeds call it the gas station dance or the Litvin Ravshan Adel dance.
How to make your own
You need three photos, one for each role: the dancer, the person filming and the person getting out of the car. The same photo can fill all three. Add your photos here and the clip renders in about 5–10 minutes, vertical and ready to post.
